Driving Directions to SMAR
From points north Starting at the Capital Beltway
(95 and 495):
Exit at Branch Avenue (Rt 5) heading South towards Camp Springs.
Stay on Branch Avenue/Rt 5 all the way through Prince George's County
into Waldorf.
Just before entering Charles County, Rt 5 will join with Rt 301.
In Waldorf, at a traffic signal, Rt 5 will branch
off to the left, and Rt 301 will continue
ahead. Stay on Rt 5 by turning left at the traffic signal, towards Leonardtown.
Follow Rt 5 south out of Waldorf towards Leonardtown for about 12 miles.
Rt 5 becomes Leonardtown Road.As you enter Hughesville, there will be
a traffic signal at the intersection of Rt 231
and Leonardtown Road,(the only signal in Hughesville). Pass through the
signal, staying on
Leonardtown Road, but be prepared to turn left soon afterwards.
The REALTOR Center is the second driveway on the left after passing through the signal.
From Points North starting near Baltimore:
You have two choices:
Access 95 or 295 and join the Capital Beltway, or
follow Rt 301. If you choose
the Capital Beltway, see the above directions. If you choose 301, see
below:
Follow Rt 301 all the way to Waldorf.
Just before entering Charles County, Rt 5 will join with Rt 301.
In Waldorf, at a traffic signal, Rt 5 will branch off to the left, and
Rt 301 will continue
ahead. Turn onto Rt 5 by turning left at the traffic signal, towards Leonardtown.
Follow Rt 5 south out of Waldorf towards Leonardtown for about 12 miles.

From Calvert County:
At the intersection of Rt 2/4 and 231 in Prince Frederick,
turn onto rt 231.
Follow Rt 231 about 12 miles to Hughesville.
At the intersection of Rt 231 and Rt 5 Leonardtown Road, turn left. Be
prepared to turn
left again very soon.
The REALTOR Center is the second driveway on the left after passing through
the signal.
From Charles County:
La Plata Area:
Take Charles Street to Rt 488.
Turn left onto Rt 488.
Follow Rt 488 to the end. When it joins Rt 5, bear to the right and merge
onto Rt 5 south.
Rt 5 becomes Leonardtown Road stay on it for about 6 miles.
As you enter Hughesville, there will be a traffic
signal at the intersection of Rt 231
and Leonardtown Road,(the only signal in Hughesville). Pass through the
signal, staying on
Leonardtown Road, but be prepared to turn left soon afterwards.

Waldorf Area:
Follow Rt 5 south out of Waldorf towards Leonardtown for about
12 miles.
Rt 5 becomes Leonardtown Road.
As you enter Hughesville, there will be a traffic signal at the intersection

and Leonardtown Road,(the only signal in Hughesville). Pass through the
signal, staying on
Leonardtown Road, but be prepared to turn left soon afterwards.

From St Mary's County:
Take Rt 235 north towards Waldorf.
As you approach the intersection of Rt 231 and Rt 5 Leonardtown Road,
prepare to make a right turn
before arriving at the intersection.
Look for the REALTOR Center sign on the right. It may be partially hidden
by trees. The offices
are on a hillside and back from the road, so they may not be visible until
the last minute.
Parking:
SMAR has plenty of paved parking. We also have overflow parking
in the grassy areas next to
the driveway. Our offices are on the upper level, so parking in the rear
of the building offers
the quickest access. Also park in the rear lot for MLS training and meetings
held in the Hamilton
Executive Room.
Events held in the larger Richard P Graham room are best accessed from
the lower lots and areas near
the front of the building.
