Code of Ethics Training Plain and Simple!
All Maryland Licensees:
All Maryland licensees are required to complete one, 3 clock-hour Maryland Code of Ethics Course every 2 years that includes a discussion of the practices of flipping and predatory lending.
How does this change apply to you?
If your license expires on or before October 1, 2005, you will be exempt from the Maryland Code of Ethics requirement,for your current renewal period only.
If you will be renewing your license October 2, 2005 or later, you ARE required to complete this specific Code of Ethics course.
REALTORS®:
Maryland licensees who belong to a local association of REALTORS® are required to complete one, 2.5 clock-hour REALTOR® Code of Ethics course every 4 years. The current four-year cycle began January 1, 2001, and will end December 31, 2004.
