The southern Maryland Association of REALTORS invites its members to brighten the Holiday for local people in need. Below is a list of local residents living in the La Plata Nursing Center. Each person was chosen as someone unlikely to receive support from family or friends this season. Following each name is a list of items that individual needs. We are asking our members to select people from the list and to purchase the needed items so they may be presented as gifts.

The listed items are just suggestions. You are not expected to buy everything on the list. Whatever you choose to give will be greatly appreciated. Gifts should be placed in gift bags (wrapped boxes may be too difficult to open), and labeled with the county, and list name or number of the person who is to receive the gift.

To sponsor a person, simply click the link above the item list. An email window will open allowing you to send SMAR staff notification of your desire to become a Secret Santa. If an email window does not automatically open when you click the link, please send an email manually, including the number, facility and county of the person being sponsored to steuartbowling@smarweb.org. Once your email is received, the site will be updated to show a new light or ornament on our caring tree. When you see a star shining on the tree's top, you'll know everyone on the list will have a brighter Holiday. Let's fill that tree top to bottom!
