The full schedule of prorated dues for the 2009-2010 fiscal year applies to anyone already a REALTOR® member of SMAR as of June 30, 2009. Lockbox participation fees are included for those members choosing to participate in the system. Those electing not to participate will not be billed the lock box annual participation fee.

SMAR DUES BREAKDOWN FOR EXISTING REALTOR® MEMBERS FY 2007-2008

* MAR's fiscal year is not the same as SMAR's. When SMAR invoices are created in July, the MAR portion of the dues collected must cover the end of the MAR current fiscal year (July-October) and full payment of the next fiscal year (November - October).

** The NAR fiscal year is not the same as SMAR's. When SMAR invoices are created in July, the NAR portion of the dues collected must cover the end of the current NAR fiscal year (July-December) and full payment of the next fiscal year (January - December).

RPAC fees are suggested and not mandatory. Typically, managers and brokers are asked to pay $109 while agents are asked to pay $35. RPAC performs critical services protecting REALTORS from harmful legislation while supporting legislation that protects and enhances the real estate industry.

A note about lockbox fees: SMAR will bill annual lockbox participation fees to members who have joined the system beginning in FY 2007-2008. Anyone joining the lockbox system in the current fiscal year will pay the applicable fees when they join. The $125.00 participation fee is prorated quarterly.
