RPAC Idol Registration (Please contact SMAR if you have any problems registering for this event)
Please take a moment to read these instructions. SMAR will be rolling out a small part of its new member's only web site to help register people for this event. The full site is still under development and the final design has not been implemented, so bear with us as we adapt the site's capabilities to the unique needs of this event.
Tickets begin at $45 per person. This entitles the ticket holder to a reserved seat, one vote, 2 drinks and one appetizer. Other packages include:
The Simon: 1 seat $99 and 55 votes
The Paula: 2 seats $250 and 165 votes
The Randy: 6 seats $500 and 250 votes
Example:
You wish to register 7 people for the event at one time. Two of the 7 will be performing. Go to the site, create your user name and password, then log back in (using the link below) and start the process of registering for the event. Check yourself and indicate a total of 7 attendees. You'll be asked for the name, email and phone information for all 7 people. When choosing ticket options, be sure to choose a combination that pays for 7 people. Choose the "Randy" option for yourself, and the "Simon" for another person in the group. This will lead to charges for 7 guests being applied to just 2 names, but the site requires a selection for each name. For the remaining 5, choose "Sponsored Guest no additional charge " so they will not generate additional charges on the invoice. Also Choose Yes or No for each guest to indicate if that person will perform. When you're done, an invoice will be created for the person who was logged in during the registraton process. You may pay via the online site secured by PayPal. Visa or Mastercard only--please.
We collect some information to provide a means of contacting our registrants in case the event plans change. Please have the following information ready:
Visa or Mastercard
Your personal NAR ID
The name, email address and phone number of each guest you wish to bring.
Step 1: Register your name on our site. You'll need your NAR ID (NRDS number) which may be found on your NAR ID Card. If you are currently an active SMAR member, please proceed to enter your NRDS ID and create a user name and password for the site. (Use your MRIS ID's if you prefer not having to remember a new set).
If you are not a SMAR member or cannot complete this step, the quickest way to proceed is to call SMAR at 301-870-2323 or email us.
Step 2: Login to the web site using your newly created user name and password. In the upper right of your home page you'll see Event Options. Click Make Event Reservations.
Step 3: Select the RPAC IDOL event and begin answering the questions on screen.
Keep in mind this important additional information:
a) Registrant Admission Option. If you register yourself and guests at one time, the invoice created will be for the person logged into the site. All the charges for yourself and all your guests will be on this invoice. For example, If you choose the "Randy" option for yourself, you'll be charged for yourself and five guests. For each guest, select the "Sponsored Guest, No Additional Charge" option for their tickets. This way, only 1 payable charge appears on the invoice (the "Randy" at $500), and the other guests do not generate additional fees.
b) If you choose the "pay by check" option, your reservations are not considered complete until full and proper payment is received. Seating for this event is very limited (about 100 max), if a credit card-paid reservation comes in after your "pay by check" reservation is made, you'll get bumped!
c) Since the site you'll be using is still being developed, please be patient if you experience errors. The SMAR staff will be monitoring this closely and will respond as quickly as possible if you have trouble registering. The site WILL preserve your attendee information and create a payable invoice even if online payment is not successfully completed. Staff can assist completing payment. Staff can process payments manually as well.
