These guidelines are intended to provide information concerning the intentions behind
providing ad space on the SMAR web site.  SMAR reserves the rights to alter these guidelines as conditions change or new information becomes available. 

Ads must meet the required specifications as well as the guidelines below.

SMAR makes ad space available to benefit our members and guests.  Ads should not include content deemed inapropriate, offensive, or lewd. 

Ads may not link to sites containing content deemed inapropriate, offensive, or lewd.

Ads may not contain spyware, hidden programs or scripts, malicious programs or scripts, or any other feature that places the viewer's computer at risk.

SMAR does not accept "pop-up" ads.

Our web site is designed to provide all the ads an equal opportunity to appear in the designated spaces.  Ads appearing on the right side of the page will rotate evenly between the upper and lower areas so that, over time, all of our ads should get a reasonable chance at the "top" spot.

SMAR reserves the right to refuse attempts to monopolize or dominate available ad space. 

Ads may be placed by members and non-members alike, although rates will be lower for SMAR members.

Fees must be paid in advance.

SMAR is not responsible for the accuracy of claims made in ad content.  SMAR reserves  the rights to change or remove ads where content is proven false or blatantly misleading.

SMAR will not design ads or develop ad content.  Ads are expected to be supplied to SMAR in a format and condition suitable for use.  If SMAR is forced to re-size or re-work supplied ad content, additional charges will apply.
