Education Classes

The Southern Maryland Association of REALTORS® provides access to a variety of training and educational opportunities. Please click on one of the following categories to find out more:

Continuing Education
All REALTORS are required to earn continuing education credits in order to maintain a real estate license.  The Southern Maryland Association of REALTORS® makes classes available to its members throughout the year to help meet this requirement.

Clock hour requirements, as established by the Maryland Real Estate Comission.

Career Opportunities
From time to time, The Southern Maryland Association of REALTORS® offers opportunities for career enhancement training. These classes are not offered on a regular basis.

Pre-Licensing Classes 
The pre-licensing class (commonly known as the Principles of Real Estate course) is an essential step in obtaining a real estate license. Classes are open to anyone seeking to qualify for a Maryland real estate license.
