The information in each report is generated by MRIS.
Beginning in 2006, MRIS expanded the traditional reports to account for increases in housing market prices throughout the area. The old formats covered details for units priced between $30,000 and $500,000. The new extended formats provide greater detail for units sold between $100,000 and $5,000,000. In the tables below, the extended reports for each category are listed directly to the right of the old ones. For those seeking a detailed picture of the full housing market it may be neccessary to download both. Be aware that the two reports overlap. Data for the $100,000 to $500,000 ranges will be reported in each.
As of October 2010 MRIS has again changed the format of the reports. An MRIS subsidiary called new Real Business Intelligence now controls the reports and their formats. The RBI report format retains the same basic data as the old Attached Detached Extended Format Reports. All of the old Housing Trend Reports, and the Attached Detached Reports covering detail of activity for list prices under $100,000 are no longer available. Additional reporting options for local markets and the entire MRIS region have been added and may be found on the MRIS website. This site will continue tracking just the Attached Detached Extended Format Report as it offers the best continuity.
Reports changed yet again starting in January 2011. While the new formats still largely follow the original Attached/Detached formats, the DOM and financing
groupings changed. Tracking of new construction was dropped and the way pendings were tracked also changed. The changes will make comparison with earlier reports difficult in these areas.
