Call for Officer and Director Nominations

As Chair of the Credentials Committee, please let this serve as official notice for the “Call for Nominations” for both Officers and Directors for the 2025-2026 election year. The term of office will begin on November 1, 2025. The Committee will meet July 24, 2025 to review the applications submitted for SMAR Officer and Director positions, as well as conduct candidate interviews in person. The open seats for Officers and Directors will be elected during the online election that will open Monday, September 22, 2025 @ 9am and will close on Monday, October 6, 2025 @ 9am. The results will be announced at the Annual Meeting on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 @ 9am.

Officers and Directors serve as the governing body of the Association, establishing policy and future direction on behalf of the membership. The time commitment varies from year to year depending on current issues, and the future direction of the Association.
